BNZ Golf Day 2026

Our annual Charity Golf Day was held again on a joyful day, hosted by the Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) partners and staff. This event with the BNZ team helped raise awareness of Canteen’s mission to support to rangatahi impacted by cancer, while also enjoying a great day of golf.

Every participant brought their best shot and enjoyed some friendly competitions on the challenges we had, such as the longest drive competition and hole in one. Additionally, through bandanna sales and the many generous donations received, we raised over $4,500 for Canteen.

While warmly thanking all those who attended, Canteen CEO, Nick Laing, emphasised how much it mattered for Canteen to spend the day with partners, and spoke on the impact of their generous support. At the end of the day, the winners of the raffle were announced, where the prizes were given by the Sabato, who are the long-term supporters of Canteen.

As the amazing tournament came to an end, participants didn’t just leave with the memories of a great day of golf, but with a heartfelt purpose of ensuring that rangatahi across Aotearoa never have to face cancer alone.
