How it works
Payroll giving is a simple and effective way to support rangatahi impacted by cancer. You choose how much you’d like to donate each pay cycle, and your employer deducts it straight from your pay before tax. Because it’s taken out before your income is taxed, you receive an immediate 33% tax credit—no need to keep receipts or make a claim at the end of the financial year.

Even small, regular donations can make a big difference over time - whether given fortnightly or monthly.
- $20 per month: Could cover the cost of a local peer event where rangatahi can connect with others who understand.
- $40 per month: Could help fund a therapeutic programme focused on grief and mental wellbeing.
- $60 per month: Could help fund a month of comprehensive counselling for a rangatahi struggling with their mental health.
If your donation is more than $5, you receive a third of the donation amount back instantly as a tax rebate. So, if you donate $30, only $20 is deducted from your take-home pay.
