The J I Urquhart
Family Trust

“As a loyal supporter of Canteen Aotearoa, we would like to share how we first became involved with the organisation. Our interest initially stemmed from a connection with Trudi Johnston, a teenage relative of one of the Trustees who had a terminal cancer diagnosis. Trudi developed a strong association with Canteen and had a leadership role at the time of her passing. The Trustees could appreciate the support and companionship available throughout her involvement, also the help and support available to her parents as they agonised over the difficult journey with her until she passed. The Trustees also recognised the lack of Government funding for this group of young people and the worthiness of our support, fitting in with our objectives.”
