Partner with us
Support rangatahi impacted by cancer across Aotearoa through a partnership with Canteen.

Every business has its own way of giving back — and we’re here to make partnering with Canteen simple, meaningful, and flexible. Whether you want to donate through your sales, engage your team, or offer support in-kind, we’ll work with you to create an impact that fits your organisation.

Sales Giving
Make an impact through every purchase. Support rangatahi by linking your product sales to donations.
Examples:
- Donate $1 from every product sold
- Contribute a percentage of sales
- Seasonal or limited-time sales campaigns

Team Giving
Empower your team to give back.
Engage your staff in meaningful ways through giving and fundraising at work.
Examples:
- Payroll giving
- Workplace fundraising events
- Matched donations to double staff contributions

In-kind support
Use your expertise or resources to strengthen our work. Provide products, experiences, or specialised skills.
Examples:
- Donate products or experiences for peer events
- Offer venue hire or catering
- Provide goods for raffles or auctions
- Pro bono or skilled support
Custom
Partnership
Every business is unique, and we understand that the way you want to give back should reflect your values, brand, and capacity.
Whether it’s something like a co-branded bandanna, a sales-linked donation, or an entirely new and innovative idea, we’d love to explore how we can make it happen together.
A custom partnership lets you:
- Align your support with your company’s mission and brand identity
- Engage your team, customers, or community in a way that works for you
- Create lasting impact for rangatahi impacted by cancer
No idea is too big or small — if you can imagine it, we’re excited to make it possible. Let’s collaborate to design a partnership that’s meaningful, memorable, and uniquely yours.

Co-Branded
Bandanna Design
Partner with Canteen to create a limited-edition bandanna, just like Viva La Dirt League did for Bandanna Day. Their design helped us reach new audiences, re-engage supporters, and became one of our most successful bandannas — all while raising awareness of Canteen’s mission.
A bandanna collaboration is a creative way to:
- Showcase your brand alongside a meaningful cause
- Connect with your customers and community
- Support rangatahi impacted by cancer through sales and awareness
Let’s work together to design a bandanna that reflects your brand and makes a real impact.

Payroll
Giving
Payroll giving is a simple and effective way for your organisation to support causes your employees care about—like Canteen, which helps rangatahi impacted by cancer. Employees choose how much they’d like to donate each pay cycle, and you deduct it directly from their pay before tax. Because donations are made pre-tax, employees receive an immediate 33% tax credit, with no need to keep receipts or file a claim at the end of the financial year.

Event
Canfish
CanFish is an annual event now in its sixth year, with key support from Barfoot & Thompson. Each year, up to 30 rangatahi impacted by cancer enjoy a special day out on the Waitematā Harbour — fishing, connecting, and taking a well-deserved break. Community supporters make this experience possible by providing resources, time, in-kind support, and donated products. Sponsoring events like CanFish, or getting involved in similar Canteen experiences, is a powerful way for organisations to support rangatahi in tangible and meaningful ways.
