Camps
Canteen runs several camps designed to support rangatahi by offering new experiences, social connection, and personal growth.

From building leadership skills to adventurous outdoor challenges, these camps provide a safe and supportive space where rangatahi can gain confidence, develop resilience, and form lasting friendships.
Leadership
Camp
Canteen’s Leadership Camp empowers rangatahi to develop confidence, communication, and leadership skills in a supportive environment. Through engaging workshops and group activities, rangatahi learn how to take on leadership roles, build resilience, and support their peers, all while connecting with others who understand their experience.

CanSurf
Camp
CanSurf is a unique opportunity for rangatahi to experience the freedom and excitement of the ocean while learning to surf. With expert instructors guiding them, participants gain new skills, build confidence, and strengthen peer connections in a fun and supportive setting.

Te Haerengai Te Waipounamu Adventure Camp
This immersive four-day canoeing journey on Lake Brunner in the South Island is designed to help rangatahi build emotional wellbeing, resilience, and social connections. Through adventure therapy, participants challenge themselves in a safe and structured environment, developing coping skills that can help reduce symptoms of mental health challenges.
